The Red Bluff Board of Directors voted to allot 20,000 acre feet of water for the 2026 water year. The 2026 water year will start on March 1, 2026 and run through December 31, 2026.
About Red Bluff
Red Bluff Dam and Reservoir is located on the Pecos River in Loving and Reeves counties. Red Bluff Reservoir is 50 miles from Pecos, Texas, and 40 miles from Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Red Bluff Reservoir is privately owned and operated by the Red Bluff Water Power Control District. Red Bluff Reservoir was created to manage the irrigation water supply for seven irrigation districts:
